Reports contain summary information about your project that you can view and print. You can periodically check on the progress of your project by running reports.
An extract lets you export a collection of data to a text, Excel or XML file—you can use this data for complementary analysis in other applications.
You can run reports and extracts from List View including:
NVivo's predefined reports and extracts
Reports and extracts you created using the Wizards—you can also run these at the final step of the wizards
Reports that you created using the Report Designer
You can also run reports from within the Report Designer—for example, if you want to see the results of the changes you made to the report.
